Respirex Product Range

The Respirex product range encompasses standard and customised gas tight suits, chemical splash suits and Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) equipment for fire and emergency services teams and emergency responders, air fed chemically protective suits and chemical work wear for the petrochemical and pharmaceutical industries, and powered air and air fed particulate suits and hoods for nuclear and pharmaceutical industries.

Protective Footwear

The Workmaster™ range of boots and overboots are made in the UK at Respirex’s state of the art automated boot factory. The injection moulding manufacturing process guarantees a seamless, leak-free construction and all Respirex boots are REACH compliant. Boots and insoles are machine washable at up to 40℃ and have a shelf-life in excess of 10 years.

Hazmax™ electro-static discharge ESD boots

A chemically protective Electro-Static Discharge (ESD) boot with an integral steel toe cap and vulcanized rubber sole for superior slip resistance. Suitable for applications such as pharmaceutical electro-protective areas.

Boot Shaft

  • Green Hazmax chemically resistant compound shaft certified to EN 13832
  • Conforms to EN 943-1 (Chemical protective clothing) and certified to this standard as part of an appropriate Respirex gas tight suit
  • Meets the requirements of NFPA 1991 (Chemical Vapour protection)

An electrically insulating dielectric boot with an integral steel toe cap and vulcanized rubber sole for superior slip resistance. The Respirex Dielectric boot provides high voltage protection of up to 20kV over the complete boot for over 8 hours, and 35kV over the sole for 3 minutes.

Decontamination Shower

MFC International offer a range of decontamination showers for single, four and mass groups of people.

Decontamination Shower’s

Lightweight and quick to deploy, the inflatable Decontamination Shower range from MFC Survival allow for rapid response.

Fully inflatable, these Decontamination Showers can be set up in a matter of minutes, and will stay standing without continuous inflation. With no mechanical framework the shelters are lightweight to transport and compact to store. The Decontamination Showers come in two different styles, with gloves or without gloves.

Optional raised floor panels prevent contact with contaminated shower wash-off, which is collected in a PVC chemically resistant sump. Sleeves for pumped extraction of contaminated water are included as standard.

Showers can be used on hard or soft standing, and guy ropes are provided for securing in position during inclement weather.
