Tankmaster C6 FP fluoroprotein

Angus Fire’s Fluoroprotein (FP) foam concentrates are based on advanced protein foam technology and are ideal for extinguishing and securing flammable hydrocarbon liquid fires. The protein base provides a tough cohesive foam blanket with high resistance to heat that quickly smothers, cools, and seals the risk. Fluorochemical surface active agents, combined with the protein base, increase the fluidity and fuel shedding properties of the foam.

Fluoroprotein foams are ideal to use in high risk situations where hydrocarbons (such as aviation kerosene, crude oil, gasoline, and diesel fuel) are stored, processed, or transported. They are used extensively for tank protection and other refinery based risks as well as at jetties and offshore installations, process areas, road/rail loading racks, marine terminals.

Tankmaster C6 is a high quality FluoroProtein (FP) foam concentrate for extinguishing and securing flammable hydrocarbon liquid fires, particularly deep seated tank fires. It is used at a 3% induction rate.

  • Stable long-lasting foam blanket for unsurpassed burnback resistance and post-fire security.
  • Highly fluid foam for rapid fire knockdown and extinguishment.
  • Detergent-free for high resistance to fuel pick-up.
  • Excellent sealing action against hot metal surfaces.
  • Foam blanket re-seals when ruptured by personnel or equipment.

Petroseal C6 FFFP

Just like the FluoroProtein (FP) foam concentrates, Film forming Fluoroprotein (FFFP) foams are based on advanced protein foam technology and are ideal for extinguishing and securing flammable hydrocarbon liquid fires. FFFP foams have the additional advantage that they can be used unaspirated due to their ability to film form. The protein base provides a tough cohesive foam blanket with high resistance to heat that quickly smothers, cools, and seals the risk, and the film formation ability brings rapid knockdown.

FFFP foams are ideal to use in high risk situations where hydrocarbons (such as aviation kerosene, crude oil, gasoline, and diesel fuel) are stored, processed, or transported. They are used extensively on Rapid Intervention Vehicles at major international airports and military bases where fast extinguishment and post-fire security with limited quantities of foam concentrate are essential.

Petroseal C6

Angus Fire manufactures a world leading film forming fluoroprotein foam for airport fire services. PetrosealC6 combines the speed of AFFF with the post-fire security of fluoroprotein.

  • Film-forming for fast flame knock down and extinguishment.
  • Stable and long-lasting foam blanket for excellent burnback resistance and post-fire security.
  • Detergent-free for high resistance to fuel pick-up.
  • Foam blanket re-seals when ruptured by personnel or equipment.
  • Reduced stocks, low cost storage, long shelf-life, and low usage levels combine to provide maximum cost effectiveness

Angus Fire Class A Firefighting Foam

Class A fires (wood, paper, timber, etc) are extinguished by wetting the combustible material. This also prevents re-ignition. Foams that reduce the surface tension of water to increase penetrating power are best suited for Class A fires.

Angus Fire Forexpan Class A Foam

Forexpan is a synthetic fire fighting foam concentrate specially formulated for Class A applications such as forestry and wildland fire control, structural fires and tyre and paper fires.

The balanced chemical system in Forexpan reduces the surface tension of water to increase the penetrating power into burning Class A materials.

Angus Fire High Expansion Firefighting Foam

High expansion foams are ideal to use at medium expansion at minor incidents such as small hydrocarbon liquid spill fires where close approach to the fire allows hand-held apparatus to be used. They can also be used in conjunction with fixed installations to provide bund protection, where it can achieve extinction of fires or suppression of toxic vapour release after chemical spillage.

Expandol high expansion foam

Expandol is a superior quality high expansion fire fighting foam concentrate for extinguishing and securing flammable hydrocarbon liquid fires. Expandol produces large-volumes of high expansion foam for use in total flooding applications, marine fire fighting and Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) applications.

  • Initial contact with fire generates a large volume of steam reducing the available oxygen to create an inert atmosphere.
  • The high water content of medium expansion foam produces a valuable cooling effect.
  • The large volume of foam generated engulfs the area and totally seals off and extinguishes any remaining fires.

Angus Fire Training Foam

Trainol 6 is a fluorine free foam concentrates for 6% usage, which has been specially formulated to provide a unique training foam with a synthetic base material but no fluorosurfactants. Trainol mimics the performance of Angus Tridol S AFFF, the aviation industry standard for fire fighting foams, to provide realistic fire training without the use of fluorinated chemicals.

Trainol 6

Trainol 6 is a fluorosurfactant free training foam which mimics the application and physical properties of Angus Tridol C6 S AFFF 6% fire fighting foam.

  • Mimics the performance of Angus Tridol S 6 AFFF
  • Can be used routinely as a substitute for vehicle and equipment testing

Trainol 6 should be used in training through conventional foam induction and delivery equipment (such as the Angus Hi-Combat range of portable foam equipment). It is not recommended for real life fire fighting incidents.

BLAZETAMER™ Water Enhancer

BLAZETAMER380™ from BioCentral Laboratories is proudly represented by Chubb. It represents the latest in water enhancer technology and has been tried and tested in various places around the world and has numerous approvals.

BLAZETAMER380™ water enhancer

BLAZETAMER380™ is a water enhancer used for increasing the efficiency of water for the purpose of Class A Fire Suppression.

In diluted mixture for fire fighting applications BLAZETAMER380™ delivers significantly superior fire extinguishing performance characteristics, resulting in substantially less water use and a reduction in the time required to extinguish the fire. BLAZETAMER380™ requires no clean-up and trials have resulted in greatly reduced instances of re-ignition.

Using BLAZETAMER380™ the fire fighter takes the offensive approach to attack the fire, minimizing the fire effects in the wildland/urban interface. The unique properties of BLAZETAMER380™ provide an excellent medium, which can be created using backpacks and all handlines. This ground application is particularly useful in building a fire line, and for direct attack, prescribed burning and mop-up operations.

BLAZETAMER380™ is especially beneficial for any type of air attack, including helicopters and fixed wing aircraft. It is well suited to provide accurate and reduced drop zone footprint by reducing drift caused by strong winds by up to 71%.

BLAZETAMER380™ solution dropped from aircraft or helicopters will assist in controlling fire spread and greatly reduce the amount of time required and water used to successfully attack the fire. The unique formulation of BLAZETAMER380™ creates an excellent fire break by penetrating Class A materials to increase the moisture content of the fuel, thus inhibiting ignition.

Ideally suited to aerial and ground application for wildfire fighting and structural fire fighting, BLAZETAMER380™ has also been proven to be very effective in the suppression of Class A, Class B and Class F fires.

Developed and successfully tested in wildfire conditions, new BLAZETAMER380™ concentrate uses up to 35% less water to extinguish fires. BLAZETAMER380™ guarantees safe handling for fire fighters and is proven harmless to humans, animals and vegetation. BLAZETAMER380™ is not a gel or a foam and it is totally noncorrosive.
