Chubb’s remote maintenance service provides customers with direct access to our specialised remote services team who can provide technical support, diagnose a fault onsite and remotely program your security controls.
Our remote services team will connect into your intruder alarm, access control or video system via Chubb’s secure remote management cloud portal. While looking at your operating systems they will diagnose and attempt to rectify the problem, and in many cases, this will avoid the need for a technician to attend site. However, if required the field technician will be better prepared with the remote services team’s diagnostics history.
On request the remote services team will be available to connect to your security system to make programming changes, add and delete alarm codes and cardholders, adjust a time schedule or isolate a zone. Additionally, the team will carry out a comprehensive annual system check to identify any issues or faults and provide a condition report detailing any recommended repairs to mitigate risk of hardware failure. Chubb’s remote services team utilises automation software that will proactively monitor the health status of your CCTV and Intruder systems to detect and report on fault conditions that may arise between service visits. System health conditions that can be remotely detected will vary between systems and can include low batteries, connection issues, camera failures, image integrity and hard disk failures.
