Chubb’s Monitoring Centre is the first security alarm monitoring and response centre in Australia to be certified as a ‘Grade A1, Redundant Level R1A’ by the Australian Security Industry Association Limited (ASIAL). Chubb’s certification as a ‘Grade A1, Redundant Level R1A’ is the highest industry rating.

ASIAL’s new redundant level certification scheme helps to ensure that an alarm monitoring centre’s critical business functions will continue to operate or be recovered to an operational state in a reasonably short period of time, despite a serious incident or disaster, at a redundant alarm monitoring centre located elsewhere.

“We are leading the industry in achieving this new level of certification by the industry’s peak body,” said Joshua Simmons, managing director, Chubb Monitoring Solutions. “This certification is a testament to our robust infrastructure, highly skilled alarm monitoring operations and response teams and seamless service delivery to our customers.”

Chubb is certified with the top rating, ‘Grade A1’, under AS 2201.2-2004 Intruder alarm systems – Monitoring centres and with the top ‘Redundant Level R1A,’ rating under the new scheme, as both Chubb’s primary and redundant alarm monitoring and response centres are staffed and ready for operation.
