Chubb’s Chief Warden Training course meets the PUAFER006 competency standard and satisfies the chief warden training requirements under Australian Standard AS3745-2010 Planning for Emergencies in Facilities which is the standard that governs emergency preparedness for all Australian workplaces.

Delivered face-to-face across all states and territories, the course covers the chief warden’s role within your Emergency Control Organisation (ECO), command and communication during an evacuation, coordination with fire wardens and emergency services, and post-incident reporting obligations.

PUAFER006 Chief Warden Training — Lead an Emergency Control Organisation

This nationally recognised training develops the competency to lead your workplace Emergency Control Organisation during a live emergency, by making critical safety decisions under pressure, directing wardens and staff, and coordinating with emergency services to ensure a safe and orderly evacuation. This course includes the prerequisite unit PUAFER005 Operate as Part of an Emergency Control Organisation, meaning participants complete both competencies in a single enrolment.

On successful completion you receive a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment for both PUAFER006 and PUAFER005.
