SCOTTISH SHARED ARC PLATFORM | CLOUD CARE CONTROL

Untitled design (7)

Cloud Care Control, the innovative platform by Chubb, is the perfect solution for the telecare sector. This cloud-based remote alarm monitoring system provides top-of-the-line alarm and event handling services, ensuring that vulnerable individuals can maintain their independence while also receiving the care they need.

Whether it’s aiding people in recovery or providing remote access to care, Cloud Care Control has got you covered. With its advanced features and user-friendly interface, this platform is the ideal choice for anyone looking to enhance their telecare services.

Key features

Central and Admin

Central is the core platform where you will handle and manage all alarms. Admin is the back end of the platform, where set up would be conducted.

It is a scalable, future-proof platform that is suitable for both large response alarm receiving centres (ARCs) but also small operational centres.

  • Handles all types of alarms – Central can handle all types of alarms, new (digital) and old (analogue), without requiring additional hardware or resources. This allows you to take advantage of new business opportunities without any added investment.
  • More cost-efficient alarm handling – the Cloud Care Control platform offers a uniquely smooth handling of incoming alarms, forwarding the correct alarm to the correct person, in time and without manual intervention
  • Minimum cost and maximum flexibility – Cloud Care Control is a flexible service offered by Amazon Web Services. It guarantees low implementation costs and allows you to handle alarms from any PC with internet access and a headset. The platform is scalable, allowing for a cost-efficient “grow as you go” strategy.

Responder App

The Cloud Care Control responder app is your one-stop solution for rapid and efficient event handling. With our app, alarms are sent directly to those who can take action,Supporting image reducing the need for a response centre. You’ll have all incoming alarms in one place, on your mobile phone, complete with a map and navigational support. This simple, cost-effective, and secure solution is perfect for personal care applications and situations where colleagues are the first responders.

If none of the respondents with the app can take action before the alarm goes off, it can be automatically forwarded to a manned response centre. Similarly, the responder app is helpful if the alarms are first sent to a manned response centre for prioritization. The response centre can then send the alarm to the designated respondent.

Alarm App

With the touch of a button, the Cloud Care Control alarm app puts you in direct contact with  a selected response centre or alerts a colleague. The alarm app is used by a wide range of groups, including lone workers such as social workers, caretakers, security guards, medical personnel and transport workers. The app can be used by anyone who does not feel safe.

Activating an alarmSupporting image

When the app is installed on your phone, it’s easy to alert a response centre, colleague or relative. Just press the alarm symbol on the lock screen or the alarm button within the app.

Alternatively, you can set the safety timer which triggers an alarm later, if not disabled. When an alarm is activated, the app transmits your location and pre-recorded message (optional), to the designated receiver and, if the app is running in the background, it will automatically set up a telephone connection to the receiver (Android only). The alarm activation works even if the phone’s keypad is locked, if another app is running on the phone, or if a telephone conversation is in progress.

Data Lake – Customer Report and Analysis

Alarms and events handled by Cloud Care Control generate lots of data. To help you better understand how your application is used and to gain additional insights, this data can be made available in Data Lake. Data Lake has standard APIs for connecting to third-party Business Intelligence (BI) applications such as Microsoft Power BI, Crystal Reports and Tableu. In addition, any ODBC/JDBC compatible application can be set up to query the Data Lake. Read only access to the individual data items can easily be configured.

The Data Lake service makes structured raw data available for querying for partners and customers that want to take their insights of how their applications are used to new heights. However, the service requires competence in Business Intelligence by the partner or customer in order to create the necessary analysis, reports and visualisations of theSupporting image data.

Some of the benefits of Data Lake include:

  • Ability to gather data on your alarms, location observations, and personnel activity
  • Accessing the data over a standard ODBC / JDBC connection from the application you prefer
  • Accessing your raw data items directly in the Data Lake
  • Data retention on individual data types is configurable for GDPR compliance
  • The set up of multiple Data Lakes

Analogue Alarmbridge

Many existing alarm solutions rely upon older, analogue, alarm transmitters, using the public telephone network. Combining such older transmitters with modern, digital solutions has typically required specialised hardware at the response centre. With Cloud Care Control, you can keep your existing analogue alarm transmitters and directly integrate them with our digital, cloud-based alarm handling system, without any need for additional hardware.

How it works

Supporting image

Alarm transmitters sending analogue signals over the ordinary telephone network (PSTN) dial in to the Cloud Care Control Alarmbridge service. The alarm and the associated voice call is converted to a digital format and then handled as any other alarm in the ARC. A prerequisite is that the analogue transmitter sends its alarm according to a protocol supported by the Alarmbridge gateway.

Supported Protocols

The following analogue protocols are currently supported by the Alarmbridge service and Cloud Care Control. However, an individual test of the analogue alarm transmitter type, done in the PSTN network to be used, is recommended, due to variability in device and network characteristics.

  • TTNew
  • TT92 DTMF
  • BS8521-1
