Chubb is offering the ideal solution, a remote monitoring system that reduces labour costs, allows for an increase in pump availability and trading hours as well as ensuring that the site is constantly monitored for added security and peace of mind
Consumers are increasingly looking for flexibility when it comes to filling their vehicles with more and more supermarkets and petrol forecourts running on a 24-hour basis. As a result, Chubb is offering the ideal solution, a remote monitoring system that reduces labour costs, allows for an increase in pump availability and trading hours as well as ensuring that the site is constantly monitored for added security and peace of mind.
Optimal profitability and security, minimal resource
By increasing pump availability, this solution increases trading hours but without the need for an increase in man hours and salaries. But how does it work?
In addition to these benefits, in accordance with local Fire Regulations, the PFS remote system monitors vehicles parked on the forecourt for an unusually long time. In this situation a detector alarm is triggered, and CCTV cameras linked to an on-site public announcement system will record the scene. An alert is automatically sent to Chubb’s Alarm Receiving Centre along with streaming live video footage, so that the appropriate action can be taken. Similar rules can be incorporated into a bespoke system using the same monitoring process in the event of smoke detection as well as observing people’s behaviour, such as suspicious individuals hanging around the forecourt.
