BLACKBURN, England, 17th June 2024 Chubb Fire & Security, one of the UK’s leading fire safety and security solutions providers, recently honoured its exceptional colleagues at the third annual Chubb Superstars awards ceremony. Held on Friday, 7th June, at the historic Cameron House Hotel and Spa in Glasgow, the event celebrated the dedication and achievements of Chubb’s people across the UK and Ireland.

On a night filled with glamour and excitement, attendees donned kilts, ball gowns, and tuxedos, transforming the venue into a vibrant celebration of excellence and camaraderie. The evening commenced with a dazzling redcarpet arrival, where colleagues captured cherished moments before indulging in a sumptuous gala dinner.

Dave Dunnagan, Chubb’s Managing Director for the UK and Ireland, warmly welcomed everyone and set the stage for an inspiring evening. Joined by other members of the senior leadership team, the team presented 43 Chubb Superstar awards to outstanding individuals and teams that have made significant contributions to the business.

An inspiring speech by Paul Grunau, Learning Officer at APi Group, on Building Great Leaders and the power of believing in one’s success resonated deeply with the audience. It reinforced the importance of leadership and perseverance and recognised the extraordinary efforts of those who go above and beyond.

The award winners represented a diverse array of roles, including sales, service engineering, and operational positions. Among them were unsung heroes, difference makers, and emerging stars whose exceptional contributions have made a lasting impact on the organisation.

“The Chubb Superstars awards ceremony is a beacon of inspiration in our organisation’s calendar,” said Dave. “It’s an honour to present these awards to our remarkable teammates for their outstanding contributions in 2023. Some have exceeded their targets to drive our business forward, others have demonstrated unwavering dedication to protecting our customers’ businesses, and many have shown true commitment to making the world a safer place.”

Andrew White, Chubb’s CEO, presented the prestigious ValYou award, which epitomises Chubb’s commitment to recognising those who embody the company’s core values. On the night, Andrew highlighted the story of Ben O’Leary, a service engineer whose quick thinking and selfless actions during a routine service visit saved a life. “Ben’s heroism and dedication exemplify Chubb’s fundamental value of ‘Protecting People First.” added Andrew.

The event was a resounding success, leaving everyone inspired and motivated to continue their exceptional work. Highlights from the event can be found here: Superstars 2023.
