BT Redcare Service Update

BT Redcare has long been a trusted provider of alarm monitoring and security solutions for businesses and residential properties. However, due to major shifts in the telecommunications industry, BT Redcare will cease operations on 1st August 2025.

To ensure continuity, BT Redcare has partnered with AddSecure to manage the Next Generation Product portfolio and oversee customer relationships with alarm receiving centres. Customers using legacy BT Redcare products will have the option to upgrade to AddSecure’s next-gen solutions or choose an alternative.

What This Means for You

If your current alarm signalling device relies on a legacy BT Redcare connection to our Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC), you must upgrade your device by July 2025. Failure to do so will result in the following risks:

• Loss of communication: Our ARC will no longer be able to monitor your intruder or fire alarm, leaving your property unprotected.
• Insurance non-compliance: Your policy may become invalid, potentially affecting coverage in the event of an incident.
