Celebrating the achievements of 2026 graduates and award winners.
The 2026 Chubb Graduation and Awards Ceremony has taken place to recognise the 75 colleagues in the UK & Ireland who have completed early careers programmes, apprenticeships and professional qualifications. The event brought together more than 160 attendees, including graduates, managers, senior leaders and mentors, to celebrate their progress and achievements across a wide range of development pathways.
Gary Moffatt, Managing Director of Chubb UK & Ireland, explains:
“At Chubb, we’ve been investing in apprenticeships for more than 30 years and this year, we’ll take our Modern Apprenticeships past 730 career starts, which is something we’re really proud of.
“This isn’t a short-term initiative. For us, it’s a long-term commitment. A belief that the best way to build a strong business is to bring people in, develop them properly, and give them the chance to grow. We want to be known as a place where people can build a career, grow their skills, and play an important role in our business success.”
Gary also addressed the graduates and award winners to reinforce the importance of continued development. He said:
“To every apprentice graduating this year: congratulations. You’ve earned it. You’ve committed the time, energy, and determination to get to this point.
“What you’ve accomplished up to this point is impressive, but what will really set you apart is how you apply what you’ve learned in your ongoing career. This isn’t the finish line – it’s the starting point. Keep learning. Keep challenging yourselves. Keep moving forward. At Chubb, building great leaders starts with leading yourself.”
Recognising Development Across the Business
Apprenticeships form a key part of this year’s cohort, with graduates completing fire and security engineering programmes alongside a broad mix of business, sales and leadership pathways. This included technical apprenticeships, sales and coaching programmes, and leadership development from Level 3 through to Level 5 operations manager. In addition, a number of colleagues achieved higher education and externally recognised qualifications, such as MBAs and professional certifications, supported by the business.
Our 2026 Award Winners

The ceremony also included a series of awards to recognise individual performance and contribution. These included Apprentice of the Year, Learner of the Year and Mentor of the Year, alongside recognition for training partners who support programme delivery.
The awards highlight both individual achievement and the role of managers, mentors and trainers in supporting development. Our 2026 award winners are:
– Chubb Apprentice of the Year – Ben Crompton
– Chubb Learner of the Year – Kim Busby
– Chubb Mentor of the Year – Sean Haycock
– BMS Sales Apprentice of the Year – Charlotte Hankin (pictured with Gary Moffatt)
– BMS Management Apprentice of the Year – Brian Langford
– Training2000 Apprentice of the Year – Tristan Houghton
Long-term Commitment to Early Careers
Chubb has invested in apprenticeship programmes for more than 30 years, creating hundreds of career opportunities across the business. More than 700 individuals have now started their careers through Chubb’s modern apprenticeship schemes, demonstrating a sustained, long-term approach to developing talent. Each year, new cohorts join programmes across technical, sales and operational roles, with structured pathways designed to support progression into permanent roles.
Next Steps for Graduates
Graduates will now move into the next stage of their careers, with many progressing into new roles across the business or continuing their development through further programmes.
Applications for the next intake of apprentices will open in early 2027, as Chubb continues to invest in building skills and capability across the organisation. For more information, visit https://chubbfs.com/uk-en/apprenticeship-programme/.
