Preventative inspections identify potential problems before they occur and can be supported with a rapid, prioritised response if required.
Chubb’s breadth of service and expertise means that our engineers are capable of servicing a range of fire, intruder, CCTV and access control systems, so even if you have several different equipment suppliers, you only need one service provider – Chubb.
All Chubb engineers are qualified to industry standards and above and their training is regularly refreshed to keep them abreast of developments and changing technologies. All servicing work is carried out by following stringent quality control procedures and to the appropriate standards.
We provide preventative maintenance on fire detection and alarm systems and suppression systems, as well as performing health checks and inspections on your systems. We offer different service contract types to suit your business needs.

Comprehensive service contract
Chubb’s Comprehensive Service and Maintenance contract is ideal if you want to pay an inclusive fixed cost, to cover preventative system inspections, access to the 24/7 service helpdesk and engineer call-outs if required, with nothing else to pay for the life of the contract. (Subject to terms and conditions). Additionally for our Wireless 16 intruder alarm system we will cover your panel and detector batteries under our Comprehensive contract.
Standard service contract
Chubb’s Standard Service and Maintenance contract provides regular preventative system inspections and access to our 24/7 service helpdesk and engineer call-outs, if required at an extra cost. (Subject to terms and conditions).
What do our system inspections cover?
Intruder system inspection (minimum of 1 each year, 2 for monitored systems)
Check of system and control unit functionality, Inspection of all major components and cabling for signs of deterioration, sounder performance check and test, remote signalling test, alternative power source test, detection, coverage and performance. We will then document the visit and offer our expert advice on your system as well as answering any questions you may have. We can also offer one remote service check on capable panels.

What do our system inspections cover?
CCTV System inspection (minimum of 1 each year)
Camera and housing connections, coverage, movement where applicable, performance and focus, brackets and fixings examined for signs of corrosion or damage, recording device checked for quality and accuracy of playback/retrieved images, telemetry and display controls checked, site and lighting assessment, alarm input operation and response. We will then document the visit and offer our expert advice on your system as well as answering any questions you may have.
CCTV Service Check – Chubb also offers a service designed to automatically detect faults and operational issues on our CCTV system through our state of the art 24/7 UK based monitoring centre. The checks are run at pre-determined intervals and any tests which fall below a defined threshold will generate an alert.

We will then document the visit and offer our expert advice on your system as well as answering any questions you may have.
