Role Summary:

Our Burnaby Branch is currently recruiting for a Fire Service Coordinator to support all aspects of the administration of the Service department.  This is a Unionized role and successful membership to the Local IBEW 213 will be required. This position is not a remote position.


Key Job Responsibilities:
  • Debrief/close fire alarm work completed by our Technicians
  • Scheduling of PMA’s, new Installs, Renos, Service work, Deficiencies, Verifications, & Inspections
  • Manage scheduling within a company program
  • Schedule technicians
  • Coordinate with multiple parties; such as subcontractors
  • Issue purchase order numbers
  • Manage all in-coming service calls and emails from internal & external customers
  • Liaise with Sales personnel, fellow Coordinators, and the National Sales team
  • Review fire alarm reports and ensure customers receive reports on a timely basis
  • Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor including vacation coverage for fellow Fire Coordinators and Administrator

 

Qualifications:

  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Flexibility to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Computer skills, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
  • Post-Secondary education in Office Administration or a related discipline preferred
