Celebrating our people who live our Values

Our company Values are a fundamental part of the Chubb culture. They define our behaviours, choices and actions at work and unite us wherever we are in the world. In 2023, Chubb was proud to launch its International ValYou Recognition Awards. These awards recognise and celebrate Chubb teammates who are living our Values every single day. We share our winning stories here. Be inspired!

Value #1 – Protect People First

Ben O’Leary – Service Engineer, Chubb UKI

Nominated by: Damian Hughes Ben’s safety-first mindset helped to save a customer’s life

We pride ourselves on our customer service, so when Ben attended a customer appointment and received no answer, he instinctively took action and called the Emergency Services. They discovered the customer trapped in his basement. He had been there for several hours with no means of escape and no access to food or water. Ben truly lived our Value of putting people first. His quick-thinking most certainly saved the customer’s life.

Value #2 – Think Steps Ahead

Sam Bishop – Global Workday Learning Expert, Chubb Group

Sam’s out of the box thinking helped to embed a learning culture

Providing development opportunities for everyone is fundamental to our success. But with 12,000 teammates operating in different countries, cultures and systems, a flexible solution was needed. Sam designed bespoke materials and tools to aid adoption, collaborated with departments to onboard them and highlighted the many benefits of Workday. Thanks to Sam, more than 27,000 e-learning courses have been completed.

Value #3  Own What We Do

Sneha M – Supply Chain Manager, Chubb India

Nominated by Vasantha Kumar Sneha’s leadership helped to improve operational efficiency

Keeping abreast of our technical knowledge is crucial to providing the best service to our customers. Sneha took on additional responsibility to implement our Technical Skill Development programme in India. Thanks to Sneha’s leadership, all our India Field Engineers have upgraded their technical skills and competencies which has resulted in improved operational efficiency for our India business.

Value #4 Bring Energy to Challenges

Madjid Mebrak – Fire Technician, Chubb Switzerland

Nominated by Sebastien Chaube Madjid’s knowledge enhances customer experience

We encourage all our Teammates to grow their industry knowledge to enhance our customer service. Madjid took the initiative to do just this! By expanding his product knowledge and upskilling in maintenance disciplines, Madjid has provided a wider range of advice, service and solutions to Chubb Sicli customers. This not only boosted Madjid’s daily profitability, but also made him a role model for the Team.

Value #5 Win with Integrity, Together

Cyril Notelle –Technician, Chubb France

Nominated by Erwan Bodenes Cyril showed true commitment to Chubb by doing the right thing

We lead with integrity – always. That means that in every decision we make and action we take, we do the right thing. So, when Cyril was asked to complete a security register for the year 2022 when the contract had only being effective since 2023, he refused to. Cyril upheld the company Values and we couldn’t be prouder of him!
